About Modesto Laser Center
Modesto Laser Center is family-owned and operated right here in Modesto, CA. Since we opened our doors in 2003, we have treated every patient like they were a part of our family. Other laser centers may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.
Whereas nurses perform the treatments at many other laser centers, we feel that our patients deserve to have their laser treatments provided by a physician. Treatments at Modesto Laser center are performed by Dr. Gary Watson, a board certified orthopedic surgeon who completed his residency training at Stanford University.
Dr. Watson is uniquely qualified to operate our lasers. In addition to his medical training, he has an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from USC, and has designed scientific research instruments for spacecraft at Caltech's JPL, where he was a group supervisor. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to operate a laser, but it helps. Dr. Watson is, indeed, a rocket scientist. He was the lead engineer and a co-investigator on the science team for a scientific instrument that is currently operating on the surface of Mars. Dr. Watson was also the lead engineer for design of a cardiac pacemaker at Edwards Laboratories.
Modesto Laser Center uses state of the art Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers, which allow us to safely treat all skin types and colors.
